Elizabeth Huebner - Artistic Director and Co-Founder, Elizabeth has danced professionally with the Joffrey Ballet and the Joffrey II Dancers based in New York City. She began her training with her parents and furthered her career accepting full scholarships to study at the San Francisco Ballet School and the Joffrey School. Elizabeth's teaching credentials include the Pacific Ballet Theater School, The Ballet Conservatory and she is currently an adjudicator for Dance Olympus, Dance Masters and is a former faculty member at the University of California, Irvine.

Amy Manlapaz-Chafin - Manlapaz-Chaffin began her dance training at the early age of five where she quickly realized it would become her passion. She danced on scholarship with Ballet Aspen, San Francisco Ballet, Pacific Northwest Ballet and Pennsylvania Ballet summer intensive programs. She auditioned for and was accepted to dance on stage with New York City Ballet, Joffrey Ballet and Ballet Aspen. Her dance styles are versatile and range from ballet and jazz to music videos and musicals where some of her credits include dancing with the Crystal Cathedral to performing at Universal Studios Hollywood. She graduated from Chapman University and has been teaching dance for the last ten years enjoying and inspiring young children to learn the art and technique of dance through her passion.
Candance Fullenkamp
Kimber Elston - Kimber began dancing and singing as a young child. Her training started in Orange County California at the COLONY for Fine Arts. She continued to study dance at Brigham Young University. During her studies she received the Colleg Band Dancer Scholarship from Disneyland. After her scholarship was fulfilled she was cast in a musical revue "Showbiz Is". Kimber toured Japan for the Opening of Tokyo Disneyland. The Hanna Barbera Company cast Kimber as Pebbles Flinstone for cross-country tour. Her teaching and choreography career began at the College of the Desert in Palm Desert California where she taught their musical performance group. Kimber Elston
Janice Furniss - Janice Furniss attended USC where she majored in Exercise Science and minored in Dance. She continued her studies at Teax Womans' University, and holds a masters degree in Physical Therapy. This is her 4th year teaching at CDC. Janice Furniss
Cathy Golan - Cathy Golan has danced since the age of three and has studied with some incredible teaches including Joan Golden, Steven Peck, Michael Cortez, Lynn Hachten, El Gabriel, Elizabeth Huebner, and most recently with Bob Rizzo and Gil Stroming. Cathy continues to take class and workshops both on the East and West Coast whenever time permits. She teaches Intro classes in both Jazz and Ballet, and teaches Intro thru advanced classes in Tap specializing in giving all her students of all ages, child thru adult, a very strong foundation in both technique and rhythm. Precise counting is essential in executing Tap, and Cathy prides herself in her strong sense of timing. Cathy is the mother of two teenage daughters, Kimberly and Kristen. Cathy and her wonderful husband, Marc have been married for over 25 years and reside in Irvine. Cathy Golan

Heather Schmidt - Heather began dancing at the Classical Dance Center at age eleven and continued dancing there through high school. She focused mainly on ballet and pointe classes, and began teaching pre-ballet classes during her last year at CDC before college. Now a senior at Biola University, she is majoring in Sociology with an emphasis in Social Work and a minor in Christian Education. She is very excited to be back enjoying ballet and the children at the CDC. Heather Schmidt
Heidi Sharpe-Axum - Heidi Axum, originally from Alexandria, Louisiana, started dance at the age of six. She studied at the Louisiana Dance Festival Workshop along with the Ballet Austin and Milwaukee Ballet summer intensives. Heidi received her early training with Ballet Alexandria where she danced the lead in Paquita, the Lilac Fairy in The Sleeping Beauty, and the Dewdrop Fairy in The Nutcracker. She received her B.F.A. in Dance from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. After graduation, Heidi took the position of adjunct professor in the dance department at Northwestern State University in Natchitoches, Louisiana. For four years, she danced with Lafayette Ballet Theatre and also performed as a guest artist throughout Louisiana before moving to California. Heidi Sharpe
